I'm a founder and CEO of Traction, a San Francisco-based creative agency with a digital core. We're often asked, are we an interactive agency or an ad agency? The answer is yes. We design brand experiences for our clients using smart advertising, emerging media and sound strategic thinking. We do interactive marketing—we just create interactions that extend beyond digital.
Since founding the agency is 2001, we have been fortunate to help some pretty terrific brands achieve greater share of mind—and share of pocket. Traction is an interactive agency... but we don't limit the definition of interactive to digital. We use traditional advertising tactics like TV and print and emerging ones like social networks to bring people into the rich online brand experiences we create. We use engineered marketing to ensure we get the right message to the right person at the right time with the right vehicle (and measure it every step of the way).
