Managing Partner/Imagineer at Beyond Oblivion LLC
Greater New York City Area
I am an imagineer of new business organizations; a brand and lifestyle prognosticator, with an understanding as to why certain demos aggregate around particular lifestyles, what fuels those lifestyles and how they intersect and interact. The late-great George Jackson used to say, remarking on my lack of formal education, that I had a BA in “urbanology” and certainly it is cities in all their intense cultural diversity that thrill me.

I co-founded UBO with the late-great George Jackson (Producer of New Jack City, Jason's Lyric etc.) in 1998, and it became the leading online urban media company. George's death coincided with the collapse of the NASDAQ and it was not then possible to raise the additional funds the Company needed to execute its plan. Beginning in 2002 I transitioned the Company into Latin Urban Music and it quickly made an impact, releasing a number of best selling and celebrated recordings including “Nuestro Himno”, the controversial re-recording of the Star Spangled Banner in Spanish.

I co-founded Urban Box Office with the late-great (and missed) George Jackson (Producer of New Jack City, Jason's Lyric etc.) in 1998, and it became the leading online urban media company. George's death coincided with the collapse of the NASDAQ and it was not then possible to raise the additional funds the Company needed to execute its plan. its demise was a tragedy for which i certainly shoulder much blame.
