CIIO at Proxis Contact Center
Brazil
I have a passion for research, practical application of what I've learnt and, of course, teaching others. My main interest today is on Eli Goldratt's Theory of Constraints (TOC), particularly with its applications to software development, project management and our personal lives.
I'm the founder and moderator of TOC-Brasil group (http://br.groups.yahoo.com/group/toc-brasil). Among the several TOC applications, I'm very skilled at the Thinking Process and Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM), which I combine with Agile PM and Lean PM in my Project Management practice.
In the Agile arena I'm the main promoter of FDD (Feature-Driven Development) in Brazil, an excelent agile development and management methodology, deserving its own group (http://br.groups.yahoo.com/group/gufdd). I'm also a CSM (Certified Scrum Master) and use Lean/Kanban concepts as well, in a balanced approach.
I'm also specialist on process mapping and modeling (ARIS, UML, traditional notations) and measurement using PSM (Practical Software and Systems Measurement) and GQM (Goal-Question-Metric), which I've applied to both software and non-software organizations.
One of my technical passions is Software Engineering as a whole and, particularly, Object technology (Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, Programming and Testing).
Theory of Constraints (TOC), Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM), Agile PM, Lean PM, Agile methodologies (FDD, Scrum, XP, Lean SD), CMMI, PSM (Practical Software and Systems Measurement), Borland tools (CaliberRM, StarTeam, Together, Delphi), UML in Color, Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Requirements, Analysis, Design, Programming and Testing, Organizational Change, Team Leadership.

Great brands, innovation and excelence every day!
Proxis Contact Center is a fast growing company. We're called a "Call Center Deluxe", where our main motto is "Small Projects for Big Companies". Thus, the level of customization is very high, demanding agility with responsibility.
As the CIIO, I'm responsible for leveraging the business to a new level of knowledge and culture, where the Resolvers (as we call our people) can contribute with their best to help our customers enhance their relationship with their customers.
I am the leader for 7 teams: Database Management, Software Engineering and Sustaining, Project Management, Process Management, Quality Assurance, Call Monitoring and Corporate Training.
I also help Operations, Sales and Marketing on pre-sales and post-sales activities, when we help our prospects and clients to benefit the most from our offers.
