Personal outlook: I see my personal responsibility in this world. I am willing to experience anything in life. I see mistakes as learning opportunities. I want to make a difference in the world no matter the sacrifice. I don't mind going against the status quo. I can see the good in any situation. I am driven by my passions and ideas more than anything else. I am open minded even if that means I will be looked at differently. I know change is a part of life and I'm afraid of it. I understand the power of knowledge and work to expand it everyday. I try to always respect others in how they decide to live their life, however I stand against intolerance, discrimination, ignorance, and I know that everyone, including me, is guilty of each one at some point. And finally, I believe everyone was created with the same human rights and should be treated accordingly.
Professional experience: I am a longtime self taught computer programmer, engineer and basic techie, but gave it up professionally to pursue other passions. After high school I traveled the world extensively, which led me to discover religion, faith, and God. Soon after returning home I pursued and completed a bachelors degree in Applied Theology. Saw my passions growing in health care and decided to pursue medicine in order to help others. With not much of a biology background I started with pursing a masters in Global Health. I justed complete my MPH degree and am looking for the next door to open.
