Award-winning associate creative director with proven industry experience. Strong skills in design, user experience, presentation and management. Ability to work in fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of quality.
I currently work as an Associate Creative Director with R/GA interactive and I also teach as an adjunct member of the faculty at Parsons School of Design. I've significantly contributed to the re-development of the studio design curriculum and I’ve had the opportunity to utilize traditional media and new media within the pedagogical discourse. I have been a visiting artist at the Cooper Union summer arts program. I regularly contribute art criticism to the "The Gay City News" in New York City. I am active in the art and technology community working with artists, exhibiting with museums and galleries and speaking at conferences such as the Living Surfaces Conference at the American Center for Design. I have also participated on the board of directors for the Foucault Society where I launched their new media initiatives. I have collaborated with a variety of artists including Frank Moore, Christine Hill, Cornelia Parker, Frank Holliday and Juana Valdes.
Since 1994 I have worked with a variety of clients such as: S.C. Johnson, Cable Vision, Bank of America, T. Rowe Price, Verizon, Lowe's, Legg Mason, Clearbridge Advisors, Caterpillar, Purina, New York Stock Exchange, Citibank, William Morris Agency, etc.
My goals include working in an environment where I can contribute to a creative practice which leads by example through thought leadership and innovation. I am open to working in an academic community as well as within an agency or client consulting relationship.
The projects I've engaged in range from systematic and software design to information, instructional, retail, exhibition, signage and physical computing.
I am interested in cultivating interactive learning spaces. I've worked with organizations to develop interactive strategies for problem based learning. I am keen to expand upon trends in distance learning around topics and products that draw passionate communities online.
