Software and Usability Scientist and Engineer
Washington D.C. Metro Area
I have extensive experience both as a computer scientist and software engineer. As a scientist, I have designed experiments, gathered data, and analyzed results, with software and humans as subjects. As an engineer, I have designed, prototyped, implemented, and evaluated a variety of software artifacts, from user interfaces to distributed agent simulations. The primary area of my work has been human-computer interaction (HCI), especially for pen-based interfaces and security technologies.
I am currently most interested in advancing the science and engineering the solutions that make security and privacy technologies easier to understand and use (HCISEC).
