I am interested in any technology I can bring behind the firewall to ensure that individual contributors have what they need to make connections, generate ideas, create content, distinguish themselves as SMEs, and overall help the organizations I work for become as innovate and agile as possible.
Past and current work include:
+ Working with cross-functional team to migrate existing intranet to SharePoint
+ Working with content owners and editors on developing sites in new portal and taking advantage of all that SharePoint has to offer including webparts, RSS, and collaborative elements such as discussion boards, blogs and wikis.
+ Working with Community Leaders to develop employee-generated communities using NewsGator Social Sites.
+ Internal Blogging strategies for groups to leverage social networking platform called D Street.
+ Integrating content and invididuals participating in D Street with formal channels of communication including, but not limited to, email newsletters, intranet pages, teamsites, e-rooms, and other channels.
+ Educating individuals and groups on how to create their own brand.
+ Enabling ENG (Employee Network Groups) and other ad-hoc groups to use D Street for their goals.
+ Best practices around gardening an internal social networking tool.
+ Learning Sharepoint blogs, wikis, webparts, search, and adoption.
