Consulting company specializing in the development of web-based applications using Adobe technologies (ColdFusion, Flash, Flex, Acrobat).
Omnicypher is the realization of a dream between my partner and I. For years, off and on, we would discuss what it would be like to own and manage our own company. Well, late last year we made it a reality.
Our theme/vision/motto is "Quality is our Code." To clients, peers, partners, and customers, this means that quality permeates everything that we do; our work, code, qa, design/architecture style, contracts, deliverables, and most importantly relationships. We understand how to measure and value quality; that, I feel, will make us successful.

At Artromick SPG, I had the pleasure of working with the brightest Engineering and Management Team of my career. My role was to work with their teams to ensure the timely completion and release of their best of breed eMAR solution. I worked with their technical teams to establish a release schedule, coordinate QA, and provide status to the company's management team. In addition to this, we established a timeline for eMAR's alpha, beta, and general availability release. I interacted with their implementation and customer service, and operations teams on a daily basis to help facilitate the successful implementation of their software.
Together, we were able to maintain an aggressive deployment schedule without any delays. Where applicable, we established processes to help ensure the success through their different groups. This project has been among the most rewarding of my career, and I am excited to have played a role in Artromick's future success.

I was a consultant at Under Armour, Inc. through Twin Technologies and worked with their Global Direct department to manage, maintain, and extend their existing eCommerce application. My responsibilities included managing the definition, scope, and execution of development projects, coordinating QA efforts, and planning / testing releases. Additionally, I provided technical leadership to their development team in the areas of SQL Server 2000/2005, ColdFusion, and performance monitoring.
We placed a healthy importance on process, consistency, application performance, and worked to improve as a team on each of these items with every project and release. Our successful projects included the deployment of the present / new eCommerce platform, extending it to support multi-channel gift cards, promotion codes / employee ordering, international / localization support, and multi-national commerce.

My work at Trilemetry spans several types of projects ranging from application architecture, database design, to application performance tuning and troubleshooting. Technologies leveraged include ColdFusion, Flash, DHTML/Ajax/Javascript, and Flex. .
Our most recent and noteworthy project was a redesign of Pemko.com. Pemko is one of the largest manufacturers of door parts in the country. This application allows architects to search approximately 4000 parts and organize them into projects. My role in this redesign was to define the web application architecture, database schema, and underlying object model utilizing ColdFusion and SQL Server 2000.
Other clients include ImageSeller and Visionary Consulting.

September 1999 — July 2006 (6 years 11 months)
My responsibilities included the leadership and management of application projects including definition, design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and deployment. Applications that I was a team member or leader of include the onProject ASP, onSchedule, S-O Comply, and oneStep.
I molded and evolved internal application development process to include requirements gathering, functional specs, use cases, and process flow diagrams to ensure 'First Time Qualiy'. This development methodology placed a focus on developing and delivering defect-free code through every aspect of our processes and established development standards, conventions, and best practices that were adopted by multiple development teams (both internal and external).
In my career, I am proud of my contributions to onProject, and grateful for the opportunity to work with excellent people and build a company. I wish them nothing but success and wealth in the future.

During my time at Compbiz, I worked with our Principal to design and architect a template driven web site publishing system called EZWeb. EZWeb was then used as the engine for catholicweb.com, a web site whose business goal was to provide a free web site to every Catholic Church in the United States.
My responsibilities included the design, development, and architecture of the application using ColdFusion v5 and SQL Server 7. I was also responsible for establishing software authoring best practices, planning and managing all quality assurance activities, creating internal systems for managing customer support, collecting customer feedback, and all software upgrades/new functionality releases.
My experience at Compbiz was rewarding and gratifying. The business and technology problems we faced were exciting, challenging to solve, and made us better both individually and as a team.
