I am a media designer with experience in creating online interactive environments, prototyping, and online product development. I am currently living in Los Angeles and I am available for freelance or full-time work.
I have spent the past two years working on projects for clients such as Yahoo, ABC, Nissan, EA, Maxis, Warner Bros, and Target.

Evade The Noise is a music blog to promote quality music. A side project, co-founded with Shay Thomason, born out of our love for music, which I contribute to on a part-time basis.

As an Art Director I am responsible for creative development of their online presence by designing a user friendly website that efficiently delivers information, developing online networking tools that connect people together, and setting a visual tone that communicates the values of family, community, and cultural relevance. Responsible for scoping out a quarterly development time line based on user needs and managing a small team of volunteers and third-party partners to continue site development.

UCLA Extension is a continuing higher education provider.
As a Flash Instructor I taught a 12 week online class titled "Intro to Flash CS3". Covered best practices, animation basics, media integration, and intro to ActionScript 3. Introduced students to industry standards and various uses of flash including marketing promotions, applications, and rich user experiences. Many students had never touched Flash before my class and were able to produce professional portfolio pieces at the end of the course.

As a direct freelance hire I was contracted for 6 months as a lead designer for Yahoo! Kids with projects including Y! Kids Study Zone and Y! Kids 2007 Holiday Gift Guide. Worked with product managers to meet sponsorship specifications, worked with Interaction Designers to produce visual comps according to specified wire frames, and worked with a remote team of developers to launch new additions to Yahoo! Kids.

As a direct freelance hire I was contracted for 3 months as a production designer for Yahoo! Summer Movie Guide 2007. I assisted the art director in designing front page "feature module" graphics and movie keyart graphics for the movie detail pages. My other responsibilities included preparing design files for the development team as well as flash production.
