This means we are following in the steps of Kiva and Modest Needs and Donorschoose to make a website that will create a ledger of social good for nonprofits. Yes, if we do our work right you will see in near real-time the outcomes of your donations to nonprofit organizations in an eBay-like format.
Over time, these outcomes can be summed to eventually create a working stock market for nonprofits. socialmarkets will be an outcomes-based stock market, that is, a REAL social market for the nonprofit sector.
