Abdul Qabiz’s Summary
I am a passionate self-taught computer programmer. I have developed expertise in ActionScript and Adobe Flash Platform (flex/flash/air), since I fell in love with ActionScript and Flash Player in 1999/2000.
Over the years, I have developed eLearning applications, web-games, desktop-applications, rich-internet-application, components, libraries, web-applications using open-source as well as proprietary technologies.
I spent more than an year working for a startup (Mixercast), where I was Senior Architect for mixercast platform, which has a lot of Flash/ActionScript as frontend. It's good to work at startup, I learnt a lot about venture-capital, funding and importantly startup-culture, which is fun.
I contributed in various other ways, be it pushing for standards, better usable interfaces or coming up with new features and implementing single handedly, one of such feature was syndication, feed aggregation/creation/consumption for widgets. I extensively worked with RSS, Media RSS and various other syndication formats/standards.

I have worked for Macromedia (now Adobe) in Flex SDK team. I was part of Quality Assurance team.
