Social media editor at Austin American-Statesman
Austin, Texas Area
I'm the social media editor at the Austin American-Statesman. I am constantly looking for new ways to engage with the community and stay ahead of the curve in a very fast-changing industry.
In 2008, I came up with the plan to get the paper onto Twitter and am the main voice behind the @statesman account. I also came up with the strategy and ran ground support for @TrackingIke during the hurricane.
Engaging the community, branding and identity, reaching new audiences.
