A native of sunny Southern California. Aron grew up in the Palm Springs area and moved to the San Fernando Valley in 1971.
Since 1979, Lasky has designed and fabricated solutions for a multitude of entertainment and industry challenges. His unique career essentially began at the birthplace of innovative design: Walt Disney Productions in Burbank, California. Some of his first creations there were animatronic characters for the Tokyo and Florida EPCOT theme parks, including elephants, dragons and a variety of “humans.” Lasky’s mechanical design capabilities, coupled with his innate analytic problem-solving skills, led him to successfully interface with a wide variety of companies within the entertainment industry.
Other than Walt Disney Productions, these companies include Dittos of California (fashion design), Stan Winston Studios (movie props and special effects), Worlds of Wonder (prototype toys and product development, R&D). Themed Entertainment Industry leaders, such as Technifex, Inc. (theme park shows, casinos, special effects, attractions and trade show booths), World-renowned Lester Creative, Inc. (museum and casino projects), Creative Presentations, Inc. (museum shows and interactive displays), and NCB Entertainment (videocassette marketing, point-of-purchase displays, and promotional events).
Lasky has served as Project Lead, Show and Set Designer, Art Director, and Senior Mechanical Designer on hundreds of projects and operates his own mechanical design, computer graphics and consulting business
His clients include commercial and private businesses and the services he provides range from mechanical design, show and set design, computer-aided design, proof-of-concept visualizations, and 3D modeling, corporate presence, website development, video editing, photography, photographic manipulation and special effects.

Worked closely and efficiently with all department leads to create products that met budget and schedule constraints. Conceptualized mechanical design and architectural and facility interface using AutoCAD and 3D Studio Max to develop three-dimensional visualizations of the finished product and viewpoints within clients’ facility.
Created maintenance and operations manuals (printed and on-line CD interactive) for Technifex projects. Manuals included photographs, illustrations, schedules, CAD/3D renderings and manufacturers cut-sheets to help the clients’ maintenance personnel perform routine maintenance and operation of Technifex-provided equipment.
