Interactive Strategist at CentreSource

I am a marketing professional with five years of hands-on experience in marketing leadership, and a passion for teaching and technology. I've seen firsthand the opportunities provided by the web technology for businesses of all size -- whether bootstrapping or making processes more efficient.
Through my education and experience, I've developed the ability to empathize, or "put on the shoes" of end-users -- thinking about websites, marketing tools, solutions, copy, training and products as the desired audience sees them. I've learned to identify gaps in performance -- those places where someone doesn't act in the way we expect them to -- and identify why this gap exists.
I've led multiple branding campaigns, managed dozens of vendor and partner relationships, led a five person marketing department, and have overseen all formal external communication for two companies. I've managed projects involving multiple vendors, stakeholders, final say guys, and internal resources within tight timelines. I've led successful search engine optimization campaigns, and I enjoy using social media as a communication tool.
I believe wholeheartedly in the power of great communication. I like seeing results, understanding and addressing the needs of my clients, and building strong business relationships. And I love seeing goals met, big ideas realized, and meetings that end with pats on the back (or drinks at the bar).
