Steve is currently the technology lead at 3scale networks in Barcelona, Spain - a stealth startup in the Web Services infrastructure space.
Previously, he was a senior researcher and research manager in distributed systems, distributed artificial intelligence, web services and semantic web technology. Steven has coordinated major international R&D projects under European Commission's Framework international and national projects.
Steven also regularly acts as an evaluator and reviewer in European Commission R&D programs and has done so for the EPSRC (UK) and NASA Intelligent Systems programs (USA). He is a member of program committees and senior program committees for a range of major conferences in the Artificial Intelligence, Distributed AI and Agent technology domain, as well as having authored around 50 publications on related topics.topics.
