  This professional paper, through a literature and media search, a survey to 100 practice managers in the United States, and additional questionnaires sent to 15% of the survey participants, seeks to explore the patients’ views of visiting a medical practice, and the employees’ perspective of serving these patients.
  
  This paper will discuss how patients’ negative emotions, physical and psychiatric conditions, along with various other factors, contribute to the low morale of the medical practice employees.
  This topic is relevant to all medical administrators and physician leaders to better equip them in the retention of their employees by keeping moral high and staff energized. Several different methods and educational processes will also be presented to train the staff and raise morale.
