I'm currently a freelance new media and public affairs consultant, available to help individuals and organizations with strategic thinking about dealing with our new landscape.
I also am a writer and editor, and I serve on the Community Advisory Board of local public TV station KBDI.
Before that I helped an old friend with the Vote No on Amendment 50 campaign, trying to keep Big Gambling from running roughshod over Colorado (we spent zero, and got nearly a million votes, but the other side spent $7 million and got more votes. Oh well.)
My grownup life started when I worked in journalism and other communications-related jobs for about 10 years before starting MyTrafficNews, which was sold to Traffic.com in January, 2006. I started one other company, ran a public policy think tank, and worked at a Silicon Valley startup.
