Chungdahm Learning KOSDAQ (KDQ:096240) is Korea’s foremost leader of English education. CDL has over 125 locations throughout Korea (and new locations in the Philippines and Vancouver, Canada), over 60,000 students, over 1,300 trained and certified instructors, over 390 corporate employees, and a comprehensive pre-developed curriculum and teaching methodology (which is published globally through publishing giants Longman, Scholastic, Pearson, Cengage, and Cambridge).
CDL is setting the standard for ESL and Critical Thinking in today's Digital Learning Society by integrating in-class time with supplementary out-of-class e-Learning and m-Learning platforms and products. Through its in-class Socratic teaching methodology, CDL also takes ESL a step further by primarily focusing on learning and using Critical Thinking Skills in an English-speaking environment, which provides a more efficient and longer lasting development of the connection between the Wernicke (nouns) and Broca (verbs) areas of the brain (whereas rote memorization develops each area separately). And, through its in-class group projects with group leaders, CDL is also fostering the development of tomorrow's Global Leaders.
