During my career in IT I have had various roles, progressing from technical support through to Project Management.
Initially I was predominantly involved in technical support roles (client and server support for both software and hardware), progressing naturally to network and server support.
I spent a period of time with a couple of major migration projects (preparing for the millennium) migrating distributed infrastructure to NT4 and Win2000 environments.
After a brief period of managing a Data Management team, I moved into Applications Development. There I have spent 5 years developing scripts, and small applications for automating server and client functions, and writing ASP and ASP.NET applications for business functions.
Recently I have been more involved in analytical and management aspects of the development process, focusing on task and resource management; stakeholder management; managing requirements analysis, design, testing and implementation.
