I have been in the mortgage business since 1999. PorchLight was started in 2004 as a Mortgage Broker and Real Estate company with a focus on high ethical and moral business practices avoiding many of the "creative" loans that since been discontinued.

In mid 2006 PorchLight chose to market exclusively to Purchase Money clients. We found it much more rewarding to help people buy homes, especially first time home buyers. We have since created our Buyer's Agency and represent home buyers in the real estate purchase as well as the new mortgage financing.

With 10 years experience getting people approved for home loan financing we have found this to be a great advantage in this market. As the credit markets have changed rapidly in recent months we are able to keep in pace with these changes and educate home buyers on all of the options available to them.

PorchLight continues to keep a competitive edge with our embrace of the quickly growing and rapidly changing social media marketing avenues. It is our goal to build an organization that appeals to "tech savvy" Realtors and Home Buyers as the internet continues to push toward a more transparent "Buyer" controlled real estate transaction.

Broadview Mortgage Corporation is owned by Dave Leightfuss, a veteran of mortgage banking since the late 70's.

As a mortgage bank in California since 1988, BMC specializes in FHA, VA, CalSTRS, CalPERS, CalHFA, USDA and many first time homebuyer programs.
