Architecture and Business Modeling Consultant
Tonbridge, United Kingdom
I was a key note speaker at the 5th Financial, Banking & Insurance Exhibition (FBIE) in spring 2005; the subject was “Compliance Convergence”.
In 2004 and 2005 I was a member of Business Processing Management Institute (BPMI.ORG) and a voting member, and contributor, to the Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) standard.
In 1993 delivered a series of seminar sessions in South Korea on the following subjects “Client Server systems”, “Cultural and Development Changes”, “Host vs. LAN systems comparisons”, and “Networking and Tools for Client Server Development”.
In 1990 I was CSC Europe’s spokesperson on the subjects of LAN, PC and Client/Server technologies. I was interviewed and quoted in the UK press on a number of occasions.
I participated in the formulation of “CSC Catalyst”. I have my own “minimalist modelling” approach that I have been practising since long before “lean” was invented.
I am probably the worlds leading expert on the installation and use of the Casewise Corporate Modeler with continuous use of the product since 1988. In 1991 I designed part of the Casewise repository schema and produced the suggested schema for the extensible repository while working at CSC.
I am described as a Methods and Modelling tool genius. I pluck solutions out of the ether for seemingly unsolvable business and technical problems.
I develops tools as a hobby but only tools that do that appears to accomplish the impossible, or at least the very complex - where's the challenge in developing simple tools!
I develop methods, tools, schemes and techniques to solve business problems and then either execute them myself or deliver training, education or coaching to others to enable them to execute them.
I am ITIL Foundation certified.
Methodologist since mid 1980's.
Specialisations are with Architectures and Business Modelling, especially (but not limited to) Information and Process modelling.
