Development Lead at Jeppesen Sanderson
Greater Denver Area
Lead software developer on a project that allows to load data to an airplane via Internet. The technologies used: UML, Design Patterns, Struts, Java, HTML/DHTML, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML/XSL, WebLogic, Tapestry, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Linux, Oracle, PostgreSQL, web services.
My heart though is with writing and public speaking. I am finishing my first book and spoke 72 times in 2007, covering variety of topics:
- sales seminar/training (I have extensive sales experience too),
- personal development and creativity,
- keynotes/guide for small businesses,
- healthy life tips, including getting rid of financial pressure,
- parent-child relations, children development and career path,
- cultural diversity and similarities,
- Americans and Russians have more common than different,
- effective leadership, technical vs political decisions,
- history of Colorado, USA, Russia, USSR,
- endless American opportunities (I like it here!),
- mountain climbing and safety,
- storytelling, motivational, entertaining - in every speech.
A speech can be as short as 30 minutes or extended into a half day workshop or a seminar, with active participants involvement. The workshop is better, if you want the audience to retain the information or to learn new skills.
The reward is adjusted based on the written audience response. At the conclusion of the program each of your participants will evaluate the session on a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high) in answer to these three questions:
1. How VALUABLE were the ideas and concepts Nick presented?
2. How EFFECTIVELY did Nick present the material?
3. How did Nick's program COMPARE to every other program they have attended?
Any evaluation card that averages less than 7 is considered negative, and reduces the fee proportionately. You pay only for POSITIVE ratings, 7 or higher. Results, not promises! (All of the evaluation cards will be sent to you for review after the program is over.)
