Experience:
Professional contracting individually, through a previous partnership, and through several firms. Currently, I am the Principle owner and President of Meta Code, though which I am not only able to continue my technical contracting, but I am able to expand my entrepreneurial venture to include the rest of my skill set, which includes talent management, marketing, and related areas.
Level three technician at Sony. Before that I've done level two tech work other places and worked tech support at Apple and Dell. Yep, I'm versatile. I've owned my own company where I've done everything technically related to anything under the sun. I've built it, upgraded it, migrated it, VOIPed it, secured it, networked it, hosted it, CMSed it, designed it, whatever.
My goals? Other than the ones listed above?
Certifications. Apparently people like it when you have the paper to back up the stuff. So my MCSE and MCP lapsed. So I've slowed down some of my day job ventures that usually supplement my independent contract work. Heh. The COOL thing is that your A+ NEVER lapses. Now, once I get some cash, I'm hitting Benchmark and re-certing for my MCSE and my MCP, getting a few others, and then going on from there . . . that's the plan, at least. Why? You can never have too many tech certs. You can never know too much, at least not in this field.

My responsibilities included taking escalations from Level II agents and resolving issues as we could, and when we could not, performing system captures and bringing them into the lab for testing and attempting to resolve the issue in lab before sending the system to Engineering as an ultimate solution. We handled a wide array of issues from software, hardware, to networking issues. Walking people through bench building their own systems and other such measures were not foreign to us.
