Prior to this I was a community manager at Engauge, a total engagement agency, where I worked in the Digital Innovation Group (DIG) researching, testing and experimenting with innovative and emerging technology with the goal of understanding total engagement between companies and consumers in new media.

I’ve worked in public relations, social media, advertising, digital marketing, marketing research and writing – doing everything from writing and pitching press releases to national media – to creating/moderating a variety of social media channels for leading brands like Snickers Ice Cream, Vespa, Chick-fil-A, ZonePerfect, Georgia Tourism and Food Lion.

I’m an active member of the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA,) Social Media Club Atlanta, Junior Achievement (JA) of Georgia and any event I'm asked to participate in by UGA, especially IABC and PRSSA events.

I graduated from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication in May 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in speech communication.
