In 1996 I founded and have since been a prinicipal partner of InterCorp. We develop software and provide consulting services to help scientific, technical and medical (STM) publishers and other knowledge-based companies satisfy the clinical information needs of physicians, academicians, nurses and allied health professionals.
We have had the good fortune to successfully develop some of our own products, and to work with some of the largest and most influential companies in the business. They have trusted us to develop and even manage some of their most important projects and products.
I am proud to have had several opportunities to lead teams of software developers and other professionals in successfully creating some extraordinary products. I am equally at home with technical programming responsibilties, project management, and product management.

Extensive specialized knowledge of search, tagging, controlled vocabularies, taxonomies and ontologies. Experience with search engines such as Fast, Verity and Lucene. Experience with WordNet and the Unified Medical Language System (NLM UMLS) and related vocabularies such as MeSH, SNOMED, and ICD-9 coding systems.
InterCorp is an Organizational Member of HL7.
