I'm often asked, "Why do you want to go into journalism?"
The answer used to be simple:
"I want to write."
But recent developments and a paradigm shift have changed my answer:
"I want to be a part of its future."
Newspapers in their current form may be dying, but journalism isn't. There will always be a need for that person to ask questions, to dig deeper, to start the conversation.
I will be that person.

Intern at the News, the community newspapers of southern Nevada that are owned by the Greenspun Media Group. The newspapers are the Henderson Home News, the Green Valley News, the South Valley News, the Silverado News, the Boulder City News, the Summerlin News (Northeast), the Summerlin News (Southwest) and the West Valley News. I write briefs and stories and help out with updating all the little stuff in the paper - calendars, obituaries, birth announcements, police blotter, etc.
