I started at Iowa State University as an engineering student working towards a minor in Spanish. To make ends meet I also worked part-time (nights and weekends) for Ames Park and Rec. and Hy-Vee Grocery Stores.
After a year and a half as an engineering student I transferred to the ISU's College of Business to major in Management Information Systems. In this program I was able to work on technology that interested me and put my past experience to work.
Despite switching majors and working part-time I was able to participate in several social activist groups, volunteer in the community and graduate in four years. This was a triumph, I'm making a note here. HUGE SUCCESS!- Activities and Societies:
