Bruce Shankle is a private pilot, musician, author and software developer who has 13 years of software development experience covering many different industry segments including military, space, imaging, telephony, and electronic entertainment. His professional involvement in the game industry started in 2000 when he joined Epic Games as a technology director to organize support for Unreal engine licensees. Bruce is now on a lead on the DirectX team at Microsoft after a working on the engineering team of Ubisoft's Red Storm studio where he is created game development tools and technologies for next-generation consoles.
