Specializing in articles and reviews relating to games, I've had work appear in Games Unplugged, Scrye, Knucklebones, Madison Magazine, Flames Rising.com, Game Cryer.com, Signs and Portents online, Geek Monthly, Armchair General online, and at Avalanche Press' web site. I've also contributed a chapter to the Warhammer FRP Companion, and to the first edition of GURPS Horror (credit purged in subsequent editions). I wrote the appendix for the book Hobby Games: The 100 Best, and am an essayist in the companion volume, Family Games: The 100 Best. I Currently write game reviews for Armchair General online, Flames Rising.com and ICv2's Guide to Games, have written reviews for Scrye Magazine (2003-2009) and was a monthly columnist in the trade publication Game Buyer. My humorous fiction from Games Unplugged was nominated for an Origins Award in 2003 (for work appearing in 2002).

Pegasus Games is a retail outlet in Madison, Wisconsin featuring the finest in hobby games, miniatures and accessories. I was employed there beginning in 1984 as a sales clerk, was promoted to Assistant Manager and assigned to oversee the opening of the store's second location in Madison. Was promoted to Manager and ran one of the two locations with minimal supervision from the owners and with a staff of 6-10 employees.
