Arsalan Minhas did his graduation in Computer Systems Engineering from the NED University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan. He was honored to be awarded with two gold medals for securing 1st position. He did his Masters in Information & Communication Systems from Hamburg University of Technology, Germany with a CGPA of 1.2 (Excellent) on a German scale (A+ on ECTS scale). He secured a scholarship for a two-year-stint through the “DAAD-Siemens Program for Asia 21st Century”.
He is engaged with Cordys and responsible for Pre Sales for Central Europe region. Before that he worked as a Consultant for BeOne Group, where he managed/designed solutions and provided strategy/technology consultancy to Rohde & Schwarz, Continental Teves, BenQ Mobile, Germanischer Lloyd, Airbus, and European Microsoft Innovation Center (EMIC) addressing their key needs and challenges. Earlier, he served Clickmarks Inc., USA as an Engineering Manager with varied responsibilities including personnel administration, project management, specifications development and architecting software for the state-of-art Clickmarks i-Framework based on patented Presentation Level Integration (PLI) technology for customers like Plumtree, Sun Microsystems, Unisys, Verizon Wireless and Vodafone. He started his career as a (Sr.) Software Engineer at Precience (Pvt.) Ltd.
He is the founder and present advisor of International .NET Association (INETA) in Pakistan and served as the first Country Leader. Moreover, he served as the Secretary of IEEE Karachi Section and also chaired the Students Activities Committee (SAC) for several years. He provided his services as Secretary & Treasurer to the IEEE Computer Society, Karachi Chapter. He is a member of ACM and has a rich experience in both organizing and speaking at various INETA workshops and professional IEEE conferences. He is also the recipient of “2002 Section GOLD Leadership Recognition” award by IEEE Regional Activities Board of Region-10.
