Anna has 11 years of experience organizing, managing and winning political campaigns. In 2008 Anna managed communications operations that helped clients defeat three harmful ballot initiatives in western states. During the 2006 cycle she managed Ohioans for a Fair Minimum Wage campaign, which raised Ohio's minimum wage for the first time in 10 years by knocking on over 600,000 doors. Anna also managed and directed communications for Rep. Betty Sutton's (OH) primary election campaign, which went from 4% in the polls to winning with a 6% margin in 10 weeks. Anna helped modernize the National Education Association's grassroots program in 2004 by running media-driven, online organizing campaigns, generating clips in every state. In the spring of 2003, Anna managed Mayor Dave Cieslewicz's victorious mayoral race in Madison, WI, electing the city's first "green" mayor and upsetting a long-time incumbent. Anna was also the GOTV Director for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's independent expenditure in Kentucky's 6th Congressional District, New Hampshire Field Director for Rep. Dick Gephardt's presidential campaign, Michigan Field Director for NARAL, and Regional GOTV Director for America Votes in Wisconsin.
