Perform yearly reviews, perform yearly budget proposals, manage consultants in our global offices, and report directly to the VP of Technology. Architected and implemented all new projects and infrastructure including the following, Livelink enterprise content management, Orchestria email compliance, load balancing on Citrix netscalers, Symantec backup exec tape backup solution, and Virtual Portfolio Manager (VPM).
• Virtualized 7 active passive MSSQL clusters to single node virtual servers to reduce complexity
• Spearheaded storage migration from Netapp to EMC, designed company wide migration of cifs shares while preserving name space, and designed messaging virtualization plan.
• Virtualized 125 production and DR servers on to HP C7000 blades to reduce physical footprint to save costs.
• Identified a major storage replication issue and resolved it by implementing a riverbed 6120 WAN Accelerator
• Migrated from Cisco CSS load balancers to Citrix Netscalers
• Successfully Implemented a Microsoft exchange cluster, to increase availability of the messaging environment and to reduce RTO in DR from 4 hours to 15 minutes -
