I d.b.a. as 3C Studio. 3C has been in place since 1997 when I left a menial design job with now-defunct TDI Talking Directories to begin to do outsourced work while looking for more challenging and dynamic projects in print design.
Gradually, in the following years, more and more clients began to inquire about the possibility of getting a website created. I would say, "Sure, I can do that," and then would proceed to figure out the best way to go about delivering on that promise.
Now, the design balance is probably 90/10 web design and development compared to design of print pieces and other materials. My focus is on custom created websites and on furthering my CSS/XHTML abilities, as well as adding proficiency in many of the expanding capabilities and great features of Web 2.0.
Clean site design that is code-lite and geared toward searchability / SEO cues for better search site results, possibly bypassing any need to bring promotion account fees into use.

Transferred to Calvin after spending a year in the fledgling engineering department of Cedarville College in Cedarville, OH. As a sophomore, I began to resume engineering courses after nearly all credits transferred, but after two weeks I knew I wasn't long for that line of learning, so I switched all but general chemistry over to core credits. After more core and making up for a class that didn't transfer the next semester, I began a full load of art/design classes as a junior.
