My 30+ year passion to replicate the growing conditions of many tropical plants resulted in being a USDA importer of rare tropicals and meeting many wonderful plant enthusiasts, collectors and awe inspired individuals.
The green house protects about 250 species, primarily aroids. The trop garden, exposed to the elements, stands tall with bamboo, a huge live oak to shade the aroids and many other tropical species.

It was an honor and a delight to meet so many juniors interested in the mechanics, attitude and rules of golf. Many parents 'lingered' during instruction so they too would learn and more effectively help their children with ethics and respect.
This game of golf (or should I say life) is one of honor, dignity, morals and skill. A lesson worth learning whether you pick up a golf club or not.
(Telecommunications industry)
January 1983 — December 1994 (12 years )
Started writing code, transitioned to telecom facilities designing long haul networks using land lines and satellite technology. Having been a part of telecom deregulation it opened many opportunities including the design and successful implementation of a Teleport in Denver, CO. We used microwave to connect to the local Telephone companies to be the first to bypass the telco and offer competitive communications to businesses and individuals throughout the US and expanded internationally to many continents.
