Founder/President 110 Studios Inc.
Providence, Rhode Island Area
I have been involved in web development and design since 1998. I got my start working for the academic journal, Teachers College Record, a publication of Teachers College, Columbia University. I developed and implemented a powerful set of tools, allowing the academic journal to keep pace with many corporate publishing operations. Over the years I advanced at Teachers College, to eventually become the Associate Director of the Gottesman Libraries and the Head of edLab, the design and development arm of the library.
My most important skill is his ability to design custom software solutions that match the needs of a wide array of business clients.
In January of 2006, I left Teachers College to found 110 Studios Inc, a web-based software development and design firm. 110 Studios is currently focusing on the academic sector, delivering solutions to university research centers, institutes, and professional organizations.
My most valuable skill is my ability to architect robust, easy-to-use web-based software solutions. The technical skills that support that are: .NET Programming in VB and C#, ASP Programming, MS SQL Database Specialist, JavaScript, etc.

As the Founder/President of 110 Studios Inc, I am primarily an entrepreneur. To that end I develop and oversee all aspects of business development: launching marketing campaigns, proposal writing, etc..
I am also the lead technical developer/architect, writing custom .NET software applications, many of which integrate with the Content Management System used by 110 Studios.
(Privately Held; 1-10 employees; Investment Management industry)
August 2006 — December 2007 (1 year 5 months)
Over a two-year period I built an industry-leading web-based energy portfolio software application for SilentSherpa Inc. The platform allows SilentSherpa staff to interact with clients using the following modules:
* Automated RFP engine
* Complete budget management
* Multi-fuel market data feeds and automated email alerts
* Multi-expense data management
* Custom reporting solutions to compare any combination of budget, market, billing, and meter data sets
* An online document library, customized for each client
* Company News and Information blogs
In addition, I built (from scratch) an email message center, contact manager, calendar, meeting organizer, and a support ticket system. Each module was custom designed so that it would sync perfectly with the unique business rules of the energy sector, and of SilentSherpa.
All told, the web-based application allows a staff of less than 3 to service over 150 clients.
