Effective communication is a necessity in the sensitive functions of Human Resources. My years of experience have afforded me the opportunity to develop proficiency in the art of coaching while assisting management in protecting the interests of the organization. Serving as a subject matter expert in the company’s policies and procedures, I clearly communicated to employees at all levels information to help them to make the most appropriate decisions and the expected impact of those decisions.
HR problem solving is another area in which I have met daily success. I have helped ensure legal and policy compliance by listening to employee concerns and recommending improvements at the corporate level to protect the company legally. By quickly and correctly addressing questions, I have been able to keep employees happy and corporate in good standing while professionally representing the department and earning employee and management trust.
Employee relations, complaint investigation and strict maintenance of confidentiality are crucial in an HR role. My various positions have allowed me many opportunities to assist with health issues and substance abuse, investigate complaints and maintain strict confidentiality protecting the company from liability. I also regularly coached management to remain cognizant of this as well.
