The North American Vascular Biology Organization is a society of scientists and clinician-scientists studying any and all aspects of the vasculature – its development, structure and function. NAVBO was formed in 1994 to provide a forum for these scientists, who are from many disciplines, to interact and share their studies, hypotheses and findings. Collaborating across disciplines adds an enlightening element to all NAVBO meetings and communications.
The purpose of the society is to provide a forum whereby members disseminate and share knowledge related to the scientific field of vascular biology, to ensure the translation of knowledge from basic science to clinical practice. NAVBO supports and organizes meetings and workshops, and maintains a website linking the vascular biology community.
Scientists from all over the world are members of NAVBO and we welcome a global community.
