When God set Jana Spicka free, the first thing she did was open her mouth.

She not only published her story, Unhindered, in 2007, but also she began the first Unhindered Encounter, candidly sharing her past and her new found relationship with God with 200 women.

From that event, a small group was born of women who wanted more follow up on how real life with God worked. That small group began hosting more Unhindered Encounters which in turn brought more women into the small group, ready to hear what was available for them.

The result is the Women Getting Real weekly class, where women of all ages and life stages join in a community to learn more about what this real God has to offer. And as their lives are being transformed, they are touching others.

We call ourselves an army of friends. We want to be part of restoring the worth and releasing the voices of more and more women.

Our vision is to be a community for those who desire more of God; inviting people to enjoy a life with God they never thought possible for themselves and empowering them to discover their true voice.
