In 2002 & 2006, the National Science Foundation (NSF) awarded Oakton Community College STEM Talent Expansion Program (STEP) grants (DUE 0230682 & DUE 0622329) to increase student graduation rates in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) through the Center for Promoting STEM.
