Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), formerly the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, is a global nonprofit membership organization for everyone involved in the practice of competitive intelligence and its related areas. Established in 1986, today SCIP has chapters and individual members around the world. (www.scip.org)

This SCIP LinkedIn group's goal is to provide an open forum for the discussion of issues and questions concerning the process of competitive intelligence and its related areas: strategic intelligence, technical intelligence, market intelligence, early warning, financial intelligence, market insight, economic intelligence, market analysis, risk management, sales intelligence, customer insight, environmental scanning, scientific intelligence, scenario planning, etc.

Note that the SCIP LinkedIn group is primarily for individuals who are intelligence practitioners in their organizations and for SCIP members. Membership in this group is at the discretion of the group's moderators.
