Poly relationship (from polygamy, polyamory, etc.) refers to forms of interpersonal relations in which some or all participants have muliple marital, sexual and/or romantic partners. Such relationships are also termed non-monogamous. (Zeitzen: Polygamy, a cross-cultural analysis, 2008)
