AusRAIL is the largest annual rail event in the Asia-Pacific and provides a forum for senior executives to discuss future policy, investment and the latest technology developments in the rail sector. AusRAIL is the only rail event to have the official endorsement and active participation of the 4 main railway associations in Australasia and the broad support of the rail industry. AusRAIL PLUS 2011 includes an exhibition with a networking drinks function, 3-day conference and both the Yellow Tie and Gala Dinners.

The last AusRAIL PLUS was extremely successful with over 1000 rail professionals at the conference, 110 speakers from Australasia, Asia, Europe and North America, over 3,000 daily visits to the exhibition and 200 exhibitors. The dinners attract over 800 guests.

The importance of rail to the economy, as the sustainable transport mode, has never been greater. The theme of the AusRAIL PLUS 2011 conference is "Innovation and Customer Relations?” two critical issues for the rail industry's long term success.

The conference will feature the prestigious CEO’s Forum which brings together the heads of the leading rail companies in Australasia. An additional aspect of this year’s event will be the Rail Supplier’s CEO Forum which includes the CEOs of the major rail supply companies. There are also individual technical streams for each specialty to focus on their particular issues.
