Women in International Trade - Los Angeles (WIT-LA) is a California non-profit organization founded in 1985 by professional women involved in international trade to provide professional and personal enrichment to its members.

Membership
WIT-LA members are women and men pursuing careers in international fields including import, export, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, transportation, U.S. Customs and the legal, accounting, consulting, and other trade services.

Global Affiliation
WIT-LA is a member of the global Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT). OWIT chapters are located in major cities throughout the United States and increasingly abroad including Canada, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. There are currently over 20 chapters internationally with over 3,500 members.

Philanthropy
WIT-LA is proud to provide two annual scholarships to local college students and fund annual contributions in support of our preferred charity, Room to Read. This organization strives to end the poverty cycle one child at a time by building schools and libraries and providing long term scholarships to girls in the developing world.
