BTW I forgot to mention that we'll start doing some of those interviews in the next week, so we'll be slowly getting back to everyone over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for participating!

I think it would be of tremendous value if we could form an association of recruiters, or join an existing one, in order to buy good healthcare insurance that is affordable. Does anyone know of such an association? Is anyone interested in forming one?

I'm not a recruiter, but a small business owner that certainly knows the pain of expensive healthcare costs. I'm not sure that this sort of this is even possible without actually forming a company. There are all kinds of state specific regulations to boot... but if you find any, let the group know!

Certainly a great suggestion Teri. However, as Miles has suggested the new healthcare laws should be determined by the state and would vary on that basis. In addition, and I'm not an expert on the new healthcare reform but, I believe small business owners (which are typical of recruiting offices) with $250k+ in annual revenue are required to have 100% participation without consequence. I think what you are talking about would be more along the lines of a recruiter's union. Please keep us informed.

I would like to find a recruiter's union or Asso. but can't find one. I
can't believe there isn't one. Doesn't seem possible. Should we form one?
    Does anyone know what's involved?
