In 2008 Sybiz acquired it's New Zealand distributor and now Sybiz has a corporate presence in Australia and New Zealand. It's solutions are sold through distributors in Ireland, Britain, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

In 1998 Sybiz was acquired by Softline Limited (South Africa) who, in turn, were acquired by the Sage Group plc (United Kingdom) in 2003. In 2005 a management buy-out was completed, returning Sybiz to Australian ownership. Local ownership has given Sybiz greater freedom in research and development activities and autonomy in establishing new, and enhancing existing, markets around the globe. Sybiz enjoys a great relationship with its former parent companies and distributes the Sage Pastel range and the Sage 50 range through a joint venture with Adept Distribution. « less
