Supported by the Safe Start National Resource Center (http://www.safestartcenter.org), this is a group for those working or interested in the field of Children Exposed to Violence (CEV). It will support raising trauma-informed awareness, effective community action, and moving from evidence to action to prevent and reduce the impact of violence on children and their families. This includes those who are both direct victims of violence and those who witness, hear, see or experience the aftermath of violent events in the home, school and community. Membership to this group will be open to those working/interested in fields related to CEV, such as child and family services, governmental bodies, health and education, law enforcement, court-related services, and those involved in research and policy. « less
