Objectives of SAMPS::
The goals of the SAMPS are:
- Promote the advancement in medical and health physics;
- Develop highly qualified medical and health physicists;
- Promote and take active roles in the implementation of international and national standards on the medical uses of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation;
-Collaborate with international and national organizations and professional societies on standards, policy formulation and advancement in technology in the areas of medical and health physics;
-Encourage, support and advance education and research in medical and health physics;
