Tomorrow, June 20, SID-W's Civil Society Workgroup will host two events. First, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., Pact will host a panel discussion on CSO capacity building in restrictive environments featuring a delegation of civil society organization leaders from Belarus joined by Natalia Bourjaily, ICNL's vice president for Eurasia and Amber Brooks, civil society advisor to USAID'. Given the growing restraints being placed on CSOs in several parts of the world, the experiences these leaders bring should prove extremely insightful for civil society development professionals. The panel will be held at Pact's offices, 1828 L St., NW, 3rd Floor.

Immediately following that event, Catholic University's Integral Economic Development Management graduate program will host a happy hour at the Black Rooster Pub, 1919 L St., NW, across the street from Pact, to give attendees the opportunity to speak directly with the members of the delegation in a more informal setting.
