The Open Technology Alliance (ODTA) is a joint initiative by the World Bank Institute and the Information and Communication Technology Unit of the World Bank created with the objective to improve the delivery and quality of public services and enhance accountability by leveraging innovation, knowledge, and technology from social innovators, technology companies, and civil society. ODTA supports open development and the integration of technologies to give citizens’ voice and improve accountability over public service delivery through knowledge products, applications and expert connections.

ODTA network is a community of practice under the ODTA which aims to connect social innovators, technology companies, governments and civil society with World Bank to design programs and share knowledge in response to global or country-level demand for technology-enabled interventions to support accountability, public service delivery, institutional transformation and open development. « less
