Anyone who has attempted or is involved with an online video business realizes that there is no "If i build it they will come" outcome. However, there is no doubt that there is a major migration to online video, serious interest from investors and major media partners, and tons of opportunity. Currently, content is expensive and so is bandwidth so its important to make smart decisions.

After spending several years working in mostly all elements of online video delivery including building a pre-youtube upload system (03), being one of the first to syndicate online an online video magazine (04) running one of the first ever auction based video pre-rolls in the industry (showcased at adtech 04) and building a Comscore top 100 video destination I have met more people, work with different technologies, seen more presentations and made more mistakes than you can imagine. This group is a forum to help companies in the space get connected to the ideal vendors, incorporate the right technology and get started off right or maximize their online video business so it can generate revenue. « less
